2-Ingredient Ninja Creami Watermelon Sorbet Recipe
Introduction
This refreshing 2-ingredient watermelon sorbet is a perfect way to cool down on a hot day. Made with just watermelon and coconut water, it’s naturally sweet, hydrating, and easy to prepare using a Ninja Creami.

Ingredients
- 1 cup+ cubed watermelon
- 1 cup+ coconut water
Instructions
- Step 1: Cut off the rind of your watermelon and chop the flesh into cubes.
- Step 2: Fill a Ninja Creami pint container with diced watermelon up to the max fill line. Pour coconut water into the same container, filling to the max fill line as well.
- Step 3: Secure the lid on the pint and place it in the freezer on a level surface. Freeze overnight for 12 to 24 hours.
- Step 4: When ready to prepare, microwave the pint for 30 seconds or run the container under hot water for a couple of minutes to loosen the sorbet. Place the pint into the Ninja Creami machine and spin using the sorbet setting. You can also use the lite ice cream setting if you prefer.
- Step 5: If the sorbet texture is dry or chunky after the first spin, simply re-spin until it becomes smooth and creamy.
Tips & Variations
- For extra sweetness, use ripe, juicy watermelon or add a splash of honey before freezing.
- If you don’t have coconut water, plain filtered water or a light fruit juice can be substituted.
- Add a squeeze of fresh lime juice for a zesty twist to brighten the flavor.
Storage
Keep any leftover sorbet in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 1 week. To serve again, allow it to sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften slightly, then re-spin in the Ninja Creami for best texture.
How to Serve
Serve this delicious recipe with your favorite sides.
FAQs
Can I use frozen watermelon instead of fresh?
It’s best to use fresh watermelon for this recipe. Frozen watermelon may release too much water and affect the sorbet’s texture.
What if I don’t have a Ninja Creami?
You can try blending the frozen mixture in a high-speed blender, pausing to scrape down the sides until smooth, though the texture may differ from a Ninja Creami sorbet.
